There isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to CBD dosage. The amount needed to achieve a particular effect is specific to the individual taking it. We recommend experimenting with the dosage to see what works best for you and your personal body chemistry. If it is your first time trying CBD, it may be a good idea to “low and slow”.
CBD needs to build up in the body to begin to see it’s benefits. With continued daily use, the effects of CBD should become noticeable within about a week or two. So, for the first 1 or 2 weeks we suggest using the serving size on the packaging of your product.
After you’ve given your body time to ajdust. Take inventory of how you feel the product is working for you. If you aren’t quite satisfied, then start to increase the amount of CBD oil you are taking. Continue this process until you have reached the desired effect.
Keeping notes about your experience can help you track your results. Some things to take note of are:
- Date taken
- Milligrams of CBD taken
- Product(s) used
- Noticable benefits
Are there any Side Effects?
*Disclaimer* We are not doctors and there are not enough studies on CBD to provide a concrete answer. The information below is purely anedcdotal evidence.
Anecdotally speaking, unwanted side effects are slim to none. Some individuals have said taking larger doses of CBD made them more fatigued than normal. Other individuals with oil sensitivities have reported an upset stomachs aftward taking higher dosages. This is why we recommend starting ‘low and slow’ and then move up when your body is ready.
